I studied at Rohini College of Engineering and Technology, the top engineering college in Kanyakumari district. I chose the course because I was interested in mechanical engineering. Faculties are very helpful and they are friendly after 1st year of engineering. They would help you with everything you need to do in projects and all. The faculty-student ratio of RCET, the best engineering college in Kanyakumari district is pretty good during the project a team of 4 members is assigned with a guide and a co-guide. All the faculties are MTech and most of them have a PhD. The term exams are conducted correctly according to the university guidelines and the level of the exam may vary from medium to hard depending upon faculty and subjects. 

Classrooms are very good and toilets are well maintained. The hostels are well maintained. It has all facilities for students like laundry, T.V room, balcony etc. Each hostel has a mess which contains both North Indian and South Indian food. Quality and Quantity of food is good and adequate. Everything is hygienic. First year students are provided with double or triple occupancy rooms. Later on, they get single rooms. Rooms have beds, table and fan/coolers too. Each floor of hostel has fully maintained and equipped toilets.

This helped me develop leadership qualities and team spirit.
